Outdoor Painters' Show - Sunny Ways

Today is the first day of the "Sunny Ways" the Outdoor Painters' Show at KAGS.

Diane Collins and I have paintings in this exhibition.

In this show the members of the Outdoor Painters' Group purchase from two feet (.61m) to eight feet (2.4m) of wall space and hang their paintings themselves.

Diane had two feet (.61m) of space along the entry wall and hung two paintings, an acrylic painting of a lake and the second one was a scratch board image of a butterfly on Echinacea.

I had my usual eight feet (2.4m) of space, six feet (1.8m) on the opposite wall from Diane's space and two feet (.61m) along the wall opposite the main end wall of the Gallery.

There is also a silent auction on the studio level of the Gallery with a $25.00 minimum bid and between 25% and 100% of the sale price going toward prizes for the Annual Best of High School Art Show held each May at the Gallery.

There is also Free Draw for a chance to win an original painting by one of the members Outdoor Painters' Group.

Please come out and enjoy the show.
