Today is the opening reception for the Floral and Still Life exhibition held at the Kawartha Artists' Gallery and Studio from 1-4pm.
Three of the Group's artists, Cindy Allan, Diane Collins and Susan Sydney are exhibiting work in this show.
Further along the wall is a small still life by Susan Sydney of a bowl of flowers by a window.
This is followed by another of her still life paintings in the corner on a plinth featuring items you need when working in the garden.
Along the main wall is a lovely grouping of three paintings, two by Dianne Collins and one by Cindy Allan.
The first two are small pieces by Diane the top one is of field flowers and below it is of a monarch butterfly on a daisy.
These are immediately followed by a lovely painting by Cindy of wild irises.
On the far wall is a third painting by Diane of Crocuses bring forth their beauty to a world still covered with snow.
The show runs from 13 Apr - 05 May 16. Please come out and enjoy the artwork displayed at these shows.
